The ISOPE (International Society of Offshore and Polar Engineers) was founded in 1989 as a tax-exempt, non-profit scientific and educational organization under U.S. IRS Code 501(c)(3). Its members come from 50 countries. ISOPE activities cover a transactions journal and other publications, technical conferences and symposia, student scholarship and professional recognition programs, continuing education and international cooperation.
