Abstract
Coastal area has high primary productivity and various ecosystems owing to richness nutrient from land. Biomass resources from this ecosystem are valuable and need to be preserved for environmental conditions. In Japan, coastal fishery flourishes as a way of application of biomass resources for a long time. Coastal fishery catches are declining by deterioration of coastal environment. In this paper, existing data of fishery catches and environmental factors are simplified to consider correlation between them, using statistical procedure. This result shows the causation of decreasing fishery catches and a way of to renovate a bountiful coastal sea.
