Nitrogen foam flooding technology for enhanced oil recovery was applied in Offshore Oilfields of China's Bohai Bay. Experimental study including foam agent evaluation, oil displacement test was conducted to provide parameters for field test. Results of several field tests indicated that the nitrogen foam flooding technology effectively solved the problem of interlayer contradictions, and improved the water flooding development effect. Through the field tests applied in China's Bohai Bay, it showed that 12 out of 13 oil wells in 2 well groups had obvious positive results, average water cut dropped by 6.3% and cumulative oil reached 20756 m3 in 8 months up to now, fully indicating that the nitrogen foam flooding technology, as a prospective EOR method, can significantly improve the water flooding effect.
