The multi-component thermal fluid recovery technology is the heavy oil recovery technology of new generation, which injects the combustion products of air and fuel into reservoir (hot water, steam, CO2 and N2), greatly improve the oil production rate and enhance the heavy oil recovery by using the compound effect of heat and gases. By laboratory experiment research, we have deeply studied the multi-component thermal fluid stimulation mechanism and worked out a series of matching technologies of water treatment, wellhead, injection-production string, wellbore heat insulation and horizontal well uniform injection for offshore heavy oil thermal recovery. This technology has been applied in the Bohai Nanpu oilfield with remarkable results. The multi-component thermal fluid recovery and its matching technologies which meet the requirements of offshore heavy oilfield high-efficiency development have explored a new way for the development of offshore high-viscosity heavy oil.
