This paper discusses procedure of the multi-component thermal fluid technology on extra-heavy oil to enhance oil recovery on Bohai bay of China. Offshore heavy oil reserves are abundant, but due to the high viscosity of heavy oil, poor mobility, heavy oil wells conventional test difficult to correctly evaluate the true reservoir reserves, which for the subsequent production and development has brought great difficulties. Heavy oil thermal recovery technology is the development of the most effective way. The authors used laboratory experiments and field trials combining means, through multiple thermal fluid thermal recovery techniques for thermal recovery wells tested at sea exploration. And it has been tested at sea thermal recovery wells preliminary conclusions for follow-up heavy oil production wells to test and provide the basis for the development of oilfields and technical support. This technique is applicable to reservoir conditions apply to viscosity 1000 ~ 30000cP (50°) or less heavy; suitable reservoir thickness, good reservoir properties; heavy oil viscosity to use the characteristics of strong sensitivity to temperature, as the temperature increase oil viscosity reduction, increased mobility, and thus achieve the purpose of the test strike capacity; this technology has diversified thermal fluid viscosity reduction of carbon dioxide dissolved nitrogen energizing supplement formation energy dwell role. In addition, it has advantages, such as construction equipment small footprint and light weight, zero pollution during the operation in the sea, to meet the offshore platform operating safety, environmental protection requirement and operating cycle is short and so on.
