Abstract

In this study, a modified Hall plot model was developed to evaluate injection performance of polymer flooding in a heterogeneous reservoir. Due to lack of the field data, results from the reservoir simulation were compared to verify accuracy of the modified Hall plot model. The comparison indicated that the model developed in this study yields more accurate results than other methods and can investigate the injectivity reduction phenomenon through geological problems such as semi-sealing.
