Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop and verify an alternative spread mooring system to be applied to FLNG operated in West Africa. Time domain analysis for ULS (ultimate limit state) and ALS (accidental limit state) design and frequency domain analysis for FLS (fatigue limit state) design were carried out to evaluate the feasibility of the developed mooring system. Side-by-side offloading analysis was also performed to ensure that FLNG equipped with the proposed mooring system can meet the operability requirement of the offloading operation.
