With the further exploration and development of BZ oilfield in Bohai Bay, the exploration and development targets have been gradually diverted from simple structural reservoirs to the complex lithology reservoirs. In this case, reliable hydrocarbon detection results can reduce the risk and cost of exploration and development. In the face of complex lithology reservoirs, post-stack hydrocarbon detection methods often have serious multiresolution. So it has great significance to study the pre-stack hydrocarbon detection method at the present stage since the pre-stack gathers contain abundant lithology and hydrocarbon information. However, in practical application, it is found that amplitude- preserved property of pre-stack gathers is poor, which makes the pre-stack techniques based on AVO law cannot been effectively applied. Therefore, after deeply studying the main causes of the problem, we innovatively propose an AVO response correction method in time-frequency-space domain based on high-resolution matching pursuit and low-frequency constraint to improve the amplitude-preserved property of pre-stack gathers. The synthetic data and actual data processing results show that the AVO response correction method we proposed has obtained good results. It not only provides a new idea and a new way to solve the problem of poor amplitude-preserved property of pre-stack gathers, but also provides reliable basic data for the following pre-stack hydrocarbon detection in BZ oilfield.
