We develop electrical conductivity sensitivity functions for vertical electrical (VED) and magnetic (VMD) dipole sensors in whole-space models with and without interwell resistive and conductive targets. Using the crosswell configuration we examine responses at low and high induction number, B, which is a function of formation properties, frequency and interwell sensor spacing. The sensitivity data are calculated and plotted in planar and 3D sensitivity space around source-receiver pairs and sensor arrays. The calculations are useful in designing effective configurations for delineating target structures.
