There is a great need for access to clean, safe water in many locations across the globe. DC resistivity has been demonstrated to be a viable approach to locating a good location for drilling water wells. However, lack of experience, lack of training or improper training, and no or little access to software results in the drilling of dry holes. This was the situation in Rwanda.
