ABSTRACT
This paper presents the application of a new analytical simulator specifically developed for multilayer reservoirs. In this paper, we demonstrate how this analytical simulator can be used, the same way as a conventional numerical simulator, to history-match field pressure data, production data, and forecast reservoir performance. Two field cases are presented in which analytical simulation results and numerical simulation results are compared.
