Light well intervention (LWI) techniques have become increasingly vital in maintaining and optimizing production efficiency in deepwater oil and gas wells. This paper provides a review of recent advancements in LWI technologies, with a particular emphasis on their application in deepwater and sub ambient environments.

The growth of riserless intervention in GOM and push of application beyond current boundaries of operational experience provides- Further growth of well stock feasible to benefit for Riserless Intervention (RLWI).

Furthermore, the widening application of LWI techniques beyond current operational boundaries indicate a maturation and adaptability of the technology to meet evolving industry demand.
