Journal of Petroleum Technology

The Journal of Petroleum Technology is the flagship magazine of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.  It presents authoritative briefs and features on E&P technology advancements, oil and gas industry issues, and news about SPE and its members.

JPT is the flagship member magazine for SPE. Originally JPT contained full peer-reviewed technical papers. Starting in 1997 the magazine switched to focus on synopsis of conference papers selected by an editorial board.

Currently OnePetro contains the older full JPT papers as well as many of the more recent published articles. As they become available additional articles and features from the more recent issues will be added.
